Introducing the RADOS DnD-Portal™

The RADOS DnD-Portal™ combines the advances
in plastic- detector technology and modular design
to a portal measurement station built to fit the fast
changing conditions of projects typical for emergency
response or nuclear decommissioning.

Once the dedicated transport container has arrived on
site, it is a matter of four people and three hours work
to assemble the monitor on any suitable solid and
plane surface. Special quick fittings designed to be
fastened without the need of special tools and small
man-handleable modules support this task.
Quick fit electrical connections are wired up in a matter
of minutes. Once deployed and connected, the unit
can be powered up and the operator is guided by the
graphical user interface of the RADOS monitor software
to configure the monitor. The software is based on
the most robust, industrial standard operating system
QNX.
The monitor software is based on the proven software
suite as used in other CheckPoint:Gate™ monitors with
extensive analysis capabilities for the expert operator
yet simple operation of the monitor by everyday users.

The value in the RADOS DnD-Portal™ is in the
modular nature of the unit, which can be transported
from site to site with minimal effort and which allow
the scaling of the monitor from a simple personnel
size gate up to truck size drive-through gate. One
dedicated container carries all modules and can be
moved by fork lift or truck.
