Starting the Washing Program/Setting the Delay Timer
0 1. Check whether the water tap is open.
2. Switch on the washing machine: Press the M (ON/OFF)
button.
– The washing program starts automatically after
approx. six seconds.
– During these six seconds you can set a time delay to postpone the
start of the washing program.
– The door is locked at the latest 15 seconds after program start.
The M (ON/OFF) indicator illuminates.
Set the Delay Timer if necessary:
0 Keep pressing the delay timer button until the indicator
lamp for the required delay (2, 4, 8, or 12 hours) illumi-
nates.
– The time remaining until the start of the program is dis-
played (in the following steps: 12, 8, 4, 2 hours).
– During the delay period you can open the door to add
washing.
Changing or Stopping the Delay Timer:
0 Keep pressing the button until the indicator lamp for the required time
delay illuminates. If no indicator lamps are left illuminated, the wash-
ing program is started.
Changing the Spin Speed/Selecting Rinse Hold
0 If necessary change the spin speed for the final spin/
select rinse hold:
keep pressing the spin speed/o (RINSE HOLD) button
until the indicator for the required spin speed (or o)
illuminates.
If o (RINSE HOLD) is selected, the washing is left in
the last rinse water, it is not spun.
3 If you do not change the spin speed, the final spin will
be automatically adjusted to suit the washing program:
The speed for the intermediate spin is depending on the program
selected and cannot be changed.

– } (EASY CARES) 1000 revolutions per minute
– Ã (DELICATES) 1000 revolutions per minute
– s (WOOLLENS) 1000 revolutions per minute
