8. Service body mounting
Turn the rack over and place on the service body box.
Position the rack on the service body with rear legs as far back as possible.
Slide the ‘T’ brackets with legs so the span between the mounting feet is centered on the service
body and as wide as possible. Use a tape measure to the center the legs on the crossbars for
best results.
Slide the front crossbar with legs as far forward as possible.
Examine the service body to make sure that are not any wires, hinges, tail lights, etc. that may
cause problems with mounting the feet to service body and that there is enough room to use a nut
and washer on the inside for maximum mounting strength. Adjust position if needed.
Mark the hole locations of the mounting feet to the service body.
