1. Lower exhaust by removing (3) rubber exhaust hangers from hanger mounting brackets, (2) on driver’s side, (1) on passenger’s side.
1 Qty. (4) Hex Bolt M12 x 1.25 x 30mm CL8.8 4 Qty. (1) Conical Washer – 3/8”
2 Qty. (4) Conical Washer – ½” 5 Qty. (2) Cable Tie
3 Qty. (1) Hex Bolt M10 x 1.25 x 30mm CL8.8

2. Remove tie-down bracket from driver’s side frame rail. Return tie-down bracket and fasteners to vehicle owner.
3. Disconnect fascia from valence panel by removing (2) plastic fascia push pins. Return push pins to vehicle owner.
4. Remove valence panel from vehicle bulkhead by removing (4) hex nuts. Return valence panel and nuts to vehicle owner.
5. Raise hitch into position by carefully pulling fascia down to allow clearance for hitch side brackets. Secure with conical washers and M12 hex
bolts into existing weldnuts as shown above.
6. Raise exhaust back into position and re-attach exhaust hangers.
7. Use cable ties to secure plastic fascia to hitch crosstube.
Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 76 Lb.-Ft. (103 N*M)
Tighten all M10 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 42 Lb.-Ft. (57 N*M)

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent
entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a
vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
