Low Battery

When the battery becomes weak, the unit will display Low
Battery. If the unit is watering at that time, the unit will
automatically shut off and stop running the watering schedule.
However, it will store the current watering Program in memory
until a new battery is installed. The unit will not run until the
battery is replaced.

After inserting a new battery, the Current Time and Day must
be re-entered and the timer defaults to Program Off. To
maintain the existing program, press Menu, use the Minus
and Plus buttons to scroll to Program On/Off, press Enter to
accept, select either On or Off, and press Enter again. This
will turn the unit back on and keep it in the existing watering
schedule. Otherwise, a new program can be created by
pressing Menu and Enter to begin the programming steps
explained above.

Operating Tips

Always use a fresh alkaline battery. Replace it at the
beginning of each watering season.

Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Use with water pressures from 5 to 125 PSI (0.3 to 8.5
bar).

Do not expose timer to temperatures below 32° F (0° C)
or above 160° F.

This timer is not intended for hot water use.

Be careful when moving the hose. Pulling may damage
the timer.

To prevent clogging, regularly clean the filter washer
located inside the coupling nut.

Once your timer is programmed, the screen will display
current time and day of the week. And it will indicate
whether the watering Program is On or Off. The Program
must be On for any watering to occur.
