Installation Instructions
1. Build the framework as shown
in Figure 1. The cross member must
be 3-1/2" (9cm) from the edge of
the skylight tube and 10" to 16"
(25.5cm x 40.5cm) above
the ceiling.
2. Remove a 1/2" knock-out at the
rear of the junction box. Mount the
junction box to the cross member
using two No. 8 screws.
3. Drill a 3/8" hole through the
cross member at the location of the
knock-out in the junction box.
4. Drill a 3/8" hole through the
skylight tube directly in line with
the opening in the cross member.
5. Install the light fixture, centering
it inside of the tubular skylight and
securing it with the washers, nuts
and secure ground washer provid-
ed, as shown in Figure 2.
6. Connect the wires. Attach black
fixture wire to black supply wire;
white fixture wire to white supply
wire; bare ground fixture wire to
bare ground supply wire. Use wire
connectors to seal connections.
7. Install the junction box cover
and the light bulb.
