INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
DISCONNECT POWER DURING INSTALLATION AND BEFORE SERVICING.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
CAUTION: Disconnect electrical power before installation and adjustment or lamp replacement.
Use hook to support fixture – DO NOT hang or support fixture with the electrical cord.
This unit is factory wired for 120V / 60Hz / 15A electrical service only.
Never replace the lamp with the power supply on.
All work must be performed by a qualified electrician.
The fixture must be installed in accordance with NEC (National Electric Code) and/or state and local codes.
Use only specified replacement bulbs. To avoid the risk of fire, DO NOT use incandescent lamp.
The number of 105W fixtures connected together MUST NOT exceed eight (8)
The number of 200W fixtures connected together MUST NOT exceed four (4).
The extension cord used between any two interconnected light fixtures should not exceed 50 feet.
This portable luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of
electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug
can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
HOOK MOUNTING AND CORD CONNECTION:
1. This unit is supplied with a power cord and plug, factory wired at 120 volts.
2. Carefully compress the spring mechanism to open the mounting hook. If not held properly, compressed
spring may cause personal injury and/or property damage.
3. Place hook over securely mounted eye hanger.
4. Carefully release spring mechanism to original position.
5. CAUTION: DO NOT PLUG IN FIXTURE until remaining steps are completed.
6. Proceed to Guard Assembly instructions.
GUARD ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Attach mounting holes in the 10” wire netting to the four screws provided in the bottom of the fixture.
Tighten four screws to secure the wire netting.
2. Install the Bottom Guard (105‐watt model) or the High Bottom Guard (200‐watt model) by attaching the
open hook to the bottom ring of the 10” wire netting.
3. Snap the two S‐hooks of the Bottom Guard onto the 10” netting and secure the two pieces of wire guard
together with the locking screw provided.
