If you want to show the clock and time zone settings, use the show clock [rbridge-id rbridge-id | all]

command.

Determining installed software licenses

Certain licenses are factory installed on the Brocade VDX 8770-4. To determine which licenses are enabled, use the
show license command. The format of the command is show license [rbridgeId rbridgeID | all]. You can also use just
show license.

switch# show license rbridgeID 1

Each license key is represented by a string of x characters in the example above. Keep a copy of each license key for
reference.

You can display the switch license ID, which is required for installing a new license. Use the command show license
id [rbridgeId rbridgeID | all]. You can also use just show license id.

Saving your changes

Complete the following steps to make your changes persistent. This ensures that if you must reboot the switch, the
preferences you have set will be in force when the switch comes back up.

1. If necessary, log on to the switch by Telnet, using the admin account.

2. In privileged EXEC mode, enter the copy running-config startup-config command.

switch# copy running-config startup-config

This operation will modify your startup configuration. Do you want to continue? [Y/N]: Y

3. When the confirmation question appears, answer Y for Yes.

The current running configuration, containing all of your latest changes, is saved to the startup configuration.
The next time the switch reboots, all of the changes will remain in force.
