First, it is mandatory to cut-off the water supply for this application.

Specifications: maximum water hardness should not exceed 10 PPM at pH 6.9. For water
with hardness greater then 10 PPM at pH 6.9, the use of a water softener is recommended
or the lifespan of the cartridge will be reduced tremendously.

We recommend that you install your dispenser in a location where there is adequate room
for servicing at a later date. If the system has not been used for several weeks or more, drain
the water faucet and the system.

Cut-off the cold water supply of your sink and
install a gate valve (photo 1). We recommend to
install a valve equipped with compression fittings
to eliminate soldering. This valve is required to
cut-off water supply during filter replacement.

Install the system supply valve, between the
gate valve and the sink (photo 1).
Simply tighten the screw, so it is secured to the
copper pipe. Then tighten the valve needle until
the main water line has been perforated. Note
that the aluminium adaptor clamps only into soft
copper tubing or pipe, from 3/8” to 1 5/16” diam-
eter, and it will make it’s own hole in copper. For
iron galvanized or brass type of pipes, drill a hole
of 5/32” in the pipe before mounting the alu-
minium adaptor. Do not turn the handle before
installing the aluminium adaptor valve, to prevent
damage to piercing needle. Make sure the
piercing needle does not project beyond the
rubber gasket.

Connect the included flexible pipe, from the supply valve to the filter inlet.

Locate the faucet position and drill a 1/2” (125mm) hole in the counter top.
