THE DECISIVE FACTORS
Water consumption is the most important factor
that determines life span of the system components.
In addition, you should consider:
- Water hardness.
- Water pipe quality.
- Unuse period of the system.
Your system has a water meter to help you to determine filter
replacement time. Note that if you detect impurity, taste and
odor, you should proceed to replace the cartridges. Based on
water condition and with the history of the initial filter replacement,
you will be able to evaluate the quantity of litres delivered per
cartridge set. Then, set-up the meter after each replacement.
Cut-off water supply prior to replacing filters.
Unscrew the filter body using the wrench included with the
system. Handle with care as the filter body is filled with water.
Keep the large “O” ring.
Verify and clean the inside body of the filter, using a soft soap
and warm water. Rince out carefully.
Unpack the new cartridge and insert it in the filter body. Some
cartridge may require a particular direction. Check for indications.
Lightly lubricate the “O” ring with
vegetable oil to insure watertighte-
ness. Inset in its place and screw
the body using the wrench.
Screw firmly.
