5.2 Instructions

1.

Hang controller using four screws.

2.

Drill holes in box for using elliots or conduit.

Warning!

Make Sure Elliots Or Conduit Do Not Interfere With Controller Components!

3.

Connect Power Supply to controller. Follow Diagram 7.1 for a single phase
electric motor. Follow Diagram 7.2 for a three phase electric motor.

These motor controls are designed for specific motors. Each controller will
have an identification label located on the front side of the controller. Use the
proper motor wiring diagram corresponding to the motor and controller number.

4.

Connect the motor to the controller using the proper diagram 7.3-7.5.

5.

Connect the limit switches using diagram 7.6.

6.

Connect automatic control source using diagrams 7.7 - 7.10.

7.

Set limits on motor.

Warning!

Three phase limits depend upon phase rotation. Caution should be used when

first running the controller. If motor doesn't stop at the correct limit, swap limit

switch wires 1 and 2 with 3 and 4.

8.

On the three phase controllers set the thermal overload inside controller to above
the operating current. (See Diagram 7.10).

NOTE: If motor is being used on a RollSeal Roll-up system, flexible
waterproof conduit must be used for the motor and limit switch wires to
allow the motors to move.

6. Operation

When controller is in manual position, motor will operate off the Open/Close switch.
When flipped to Auto, the controller works off external control source, such as a
thermostat or electronic controller. The three phase controllers are equipped with a reset
able thermal overload, See Diagram 7.10 for resetting the overload.
