Installation Of Replacement Motor

1. Insert the four 3/8” bolts (supplied with kit) through the front of the mounting holes of the Face Mount

Adapter Plate as shown in Figure 2 and screw the bolts into the thread holes of the replacement
motor.

2. Tighten bolts firmly to secure the replacement motor onto the Face Mount Adapter Plate.

Installation Of Fan Prop

1. Insert the metal key provided into the groove of

the motor shaft. Orient the prop as shown in
Figure 3, with the set screw to the inside of the
prop, and align the the prop hub with the keyed
shaft. Slide the prop onto the shaft.

2. Tighten the set screw on the prop hub, making

sure that the set screw contacts the metal key.
The recommended torque of the prop set screw
is 100 In. Lbs. Min.

Power Cord, Wire Guard, and Shutter
Installation

1. CAUTION: Make sure that the power cord is

unplugged from the outlet.

Remove cover

plate of the installed motor to expose the
terminals. Connect lead 1 of power cord to
terminal line 1. Connect lead 2 of power cord to
terminal line 2. Connect the ground wire of
power cord to the green ground screw on motor
housing. Note: Motor operates at 208V or 230V
only.

2. Install the wire guard to the fan housing or the

funnel flow cone.

3. Install shutter to back of fan.

4. This completes installation.
