3. Installing the system
Please refer to the leaflet supplied for the installation of the SCS kit or the start
communication kit.
4. Recharging the device
Before using the device for the first time, charge the battery supplied for at
least 10 hours in order to keep it in good working order. To keep it efficient,
the battery should be completely recharged periodically. Do not recharge the
battery whilst wearing the helmet.
Switch off the communicator

Connect the adapter to the mains. The red LED will go on

Insert the USB cable first into the adapter and then into its housing in the
•
helmet. The green LED on the adapter will go on and the LED under the
ON button will begin to flash
When the battery is completely recharged, the red LED on the adapter

will become green whilst the LED under the ON button will go off
5. Preliminary information
The SCS kit has 4 multifunction buttons:
Switch on button in Suomy® red (next called “ON” )

Volume button
3.
Volume button
4.
Each button is associated with one or more functions depending on the state of
the kit. Different functions can also be associated with each button depending
on how it is pressed.
In general, different modes are associated with each button:
