Custom setting –
Changing the Closed
Caption setting

DVD includes so-called “closed captions”
which describe the scene to persons with
impaired hearing. It is possible to turn the
closed captions ON and OFF.

Custom setting – Changing the Closed Caption

Select “CUSTOM SETUP” under
“Changing the default settings
(SET UP)” on page 24.

Move the “ Joystick” up and
down to select “CLOSED CAP-
TION”, then press “ENT”.

Move the “ Joystick” up and
down to select “ON” or “OFF”,
then press “ENT”.

Displays the closed captions.

Does not display the closed captions.
Set to OFF at time of shipment from
factory.

Notes:
• Please be aware that closed captions are

different from titles.

• Press “RTN” to return to the previous screen.
