Installation problems

If you cannot print over the network, check the following:

1. Make sure that the printer and Print Server are powered on, is on-line and

ready to print.

Verify that the printer and the configuration are good by printing the
configuration page. To print the configuration page, use a fine ball point
pen to hold down the Test button on the back of the print server for less than
5 seconds.

Refer to Appendix of this user guide how to print the

configuration page.

Some models may be unable to print the configuration page. In that case,
you can check the printer network configuration using BRAdmin
Professional utility or Web Based Management.

a.

If the yellow and green LED on the print server blink alternatelythen
the network firmware settings may be corrupted.

b.

In this event, try to restore the factory default settings of the print server
by pressing the TEST switch on the back of the print server for longer
than 5 seconds. Once you have done that, switch the printer off and
then on again, and try to print out the configuration page.
