If the stage is locked at the operator’s side, press the
stage lock button to unlock the stage.
Hold the operation lever, pull it towards you, and then
move the stage toward the eye to be photographed.

7

Align the retinal camera to the eye to be photographed.

Slowly bring the stage closer to the patient’s eye so that
a retinal image becomes visible on the observation
monitor.

CAUTION

Do not put your hands or fingers between the sliding part and base of the
stage unit or on the panning and tilting sliding parts.
Similarly, do not allow the patient to put his/her hands or fingers in these
places.
Otherwise, your or the patient’s hands or fingers may be pinched, possibly
resulting in injury.

CAUTION

When adjusting the position of the retinal camera in the front-back
direction, slowly bring the retinal camera closer to the patient while looking
at the patient’s eye from the side.
You may injure the patient’s eye if the objective lens makes contact with it.
