Problem

Possible cause

Solution

The appliance has no
power. There is no voltage
in the mains socket.

Connect a different electri-
cal appliance to the mains
socket. Contact a qualified
electrician.

The lamp does not
work.

The lamp is in stand-by.

Close and open the door.

"dEMo" appears on
the display.

The appliance is in dem-
onstration mode.

Keep pressed approxi-
mately 10 sec the OK but-
ton since a long sound of
buzzer is heard and the dis-
play shut off for a short
while: appliance start works
regularly.

The buzzer sounds.
The Display is red.

The door is not closed
correctly.

Refer to "Door open
alarm".

Upper or lower
square is shown in
the temperature dis-

An error has occurred in
measuring the tempera-

Call your service represen-
tative (the cooling system

8.1 Closing the door

Clean the door gaskets.

If necessary, adjust the door. Refer to
"Installation".

If necessary, replace the defective
door gaskets. Contact the Service
Center.
