ⅷ The phone rings or vibrates.
ⅷ The indicator light flashes.
ⅷ The backlight illuminates.
ⅷ The screen displays an incoming call message.
If the incoming call is from a number stored in your
Contacts, the entry’s name is displayed. You may also
see the caller’s phone number, if available.
If you set the Call Answer Mode to TALK Only , you also
see the following options when you flip open the
phone. To select an option, highlight it and press
.
ⅷ Answer to answer the call.
ⅷ Silence to mute the ringer.
ⅷ Send to Voicemail to send the call to voicemail.
ⅷ Ignore with Text to send a text message. You can
send the preset message or write a new one.
Answering a Roam Call With Call Guard Enabled
Call Guard is an option that helps you manage your
roaming charges when making or receiving calls while
outside the Nationwide Sprint Network. Please see
“Roaming” on page 108 for more information about
roaming.
ᮣ Select Answer to answer the call. (See “Call Guard”
on page 110 for additional information.)
Ending a Call
ᮣ Close the phone or press .
Missed Call Notification
When you don’t answer an incoming call, your screen
displays the Missed Call log.
To display the Missed Call entry from the notification
screen:
ᮣ Highlight the entry and press . (To dial the
phone number, press .)
To display a Missed Call entry from standby mode:
1. Highlight and press > History .
2. Highlight an entry and press .
Tip: You can also answer an incoming call without opening
the phone. Hold down the incoming caller ID and drag to
"Answer" or to the desired option.
Note: When your phone is off, calls go directly to voicemail
