If it is possible, stop this application to free up the port and restart HP 3PAR Recovery manager
for Exchange service from services.msc

Problem:
Auto restore fails at mount occasionally.
Suggestion:
Check if SAN policy is set to "Shared all" or "Offline All". Change SAN policy to "Online All'
and rerun the task. To change SAN policy:

1.

Open MS-DOS Prompt.

2.

Run diskpart.exe.

3.

Enter san policy=”onlineall”.

An output displays DiskPart successfully changed the SAN policy for the
current operating system

.

Problem:
When mounting a virtual copy to iSCSI host, it fails with error “Host name not found in StoreServ”.
Suggestion:
Ensure that the iSCSI host name in HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage system is configured as FQDN
(Fully Qualified Domain Name). If an IQN (iSCSI Qualified Name) of a host is
IQN.1991-05.com.microsoft:vm1-exch2010.cw-domain2.com, keep iSCSI host name in StoreServ
as vm1-exch2010.cw-domain2.com. The name must be case sensitive.
Problem:
Backup software does not invoke post job command in the following cases:

Media configured for backup is offline.

Media configured for backup is running with low space.

Network issue.

In such cases, the impact on HP 3PAR Recovery Manager for Exchange is as follows:

1.

GUI will show backup status in progress.

2.

Backup time stamp will be empty.

3.

In case of one click backup, though the virtual copy is marked for deletion, the virtual copy
does not get removed.

4.

Virtual copy will not be unmounted.

Suggestion:
To overcome the above use case user must manually run the nbucleanup command.
