 ASSIGN LICENSE-FILE, <filename> [WVPCONF]
This provides the License Management feature with the location of license file that contains the activation key
for the shell.
 PARAM COLLECTOR <processname (e.g. $COLW)> [WVPCONF]
This optional param provides a way to route all events generated from a particular Web ViewPoint instance to
a particular EMS Collector. Without this param all events generated by WVP are routed to the default $0
Collector. Important, clone this param in each Plug-in Object Section in wvpconf. (Note: Pathway and ASAP
Plug-ins do not yet support this param. If using WVP Lite then the liteconf file needs to have this same
param.)

2.7.6 FOR WBATCH OBJECT
The WBATCH object is responsible for maintaining various databases used by Web ViewPoint to prevent stale data
from accumulating in the database files. The params that need to be passed to WBATCH are specified in the
STRTWVP file.
 PARAM ACK-RETENTION-PERIOD <retention-period-in-days> [STRTWVP]
This specifies the period from which the records in the event acknowledgement database to be retained.
Records which are older than number of days specified are deleted by WBATCH. The default value is 7 days.
 PARAM MSGS-RETENTION-PERIOD <retention-period-in-days> [STRTWVP]
This specifies the period from which the records in the IM related database are retained. Records which are
older than the number of days specified are deleted by WBATCH. The default value is 2 days.
 PARAM ADMIN-AUDITS-RETENTION-PERIOD<retention-period-in-days> [STRTWVP]
This specifies the period from which the records in the admin audit log database are retained. Records which
are older than the number of days specified are deleted by WBATCH. The default value is 14 days.
 PARAM REMOVE-ACKS [YES/NO] [STRTWVP]
If YES, the WBATCH process deletes records before the retention period from the event acknowledgement
database. The default value is YES.
 PARAM REMOVE-MSGS [YES/NO] [STRTWVP]
If YES, the WBATCH process deletes records before the retention period from the IM related databases. The
default value is YES.
 PARAM REMOVE-ADMIN-AUDITS [YES/NO] [STRTWVP]
If YES, the WBATCH process deletes records before the retention period from the admin audit log database.
The default value is NO.
2.7.7 FOR MSMGR OBJECT
The MSMGR object is responsible for writing notification messages to the MSGDB and Message Center. The
params that need to be passed to MSMGR are specified in the STRTWVP file.
 PARAM MC-FREQ <interval-in-seconds> [STRTWVP]
This specifies the interval between to keep-alive messages from the Messaging Manager to the Message
Center PC Component. The default is 60 seconds.
