Directory containing setup.exe—Specify the location, on the Enterprise
Install Console machine, where the Storage Mirroring installation files are
located. You must have write access to this location so that the Enterprise
Install Console can write temporary files. Therefore, if you are using a CD,
copy the files from the CD to the Enterprise Install Console machine. The
path you enter will be dependent on the operating system you are using and
if the Storage Mirroring installation is from a copy of the CD or from a web
download.

CD installation for a 32-bit operating system—Your path to setup will
be location_where_CD_was_copied\hpsw\i386.

l

CD installation for an x64 operating system—Your path to setup will
be location_where_CD_was_copied\hpsw\x64.

l

CD installation for an Itanium operating system—Your path to setup
will be location_where_CD_was_copied\hpsw\ia64.

l

Web download for any operating system—Unzip the file from the
web to a temporary location, but do not launch the setup from the
unzipped files. Specify this temporary location as the Directory
containing setup.exe
.

Temporary path on remote server—Specify a location, on the server you
are adding, that will be used as temporary storage during the installation,
upgrade, or uninstallation. The drive you specify must exist on the server,
although if the directory does not exist, Enterprise Install Console will create
it for you.

Activation Code—Specify the activation code that will be used on the server
you are adding. If you have multiple activation codes, separate them with a
semi-colon.

Addon Code—If you have an add-on code, specify that code.

l

Username—Specify the user that will be used to install on the server you are
adding. The user must have administrator privileges on the server you are
adding so that the installation, upgrade, or uninstallation can be performed.

Note: If the Username and Password fields are protected from editing, the

Enterprise Install Console has detected FIPS compliant algorithms for
encryption, hashing, and signing. In this case, the user account
executing the Enterprise Install Console must have administrative
rights on the server you are adding.
