• Sync.: Consistency rate of the data of the P-VOL and the S-VOL.

CTG: Consistency group number of the SS pair.
When the consistency group is not specified, three hyphens (---) are shown.
X is the capacity in use of pool association information. Pool Association Inf.:

Y is the maximum possible capacity of pool association information.
The maximum possible capacity of pool association information is calculated, based on the
assumption that the remaining space of the V-VOL management area is used as pool association
information. If the remaining space of the V-VOL management area is used for pool management
blocks, the maximum possible capacity of pool association information is decreased due to
decrease in the remaining space of the V-VOL management area.
X indicates the capacity in use of the pool management blocks. Pool Mng. Block: X
GB / Y GB
Y indicates the maximum possible capacity of the pool management blocks.
The maximum possible capacity of pool management blocks is calculated, based on the
assumption that the remaining space of the V-VOL management area is used as pool management
blocks. Using the remaining space of the V-VOL management area for pool association
information decreases the maximum possible capacity of pool management blocks and decreases
the remaining space of the V-VOL management area.
Pool association information and a pool management block are the elements of V-VOL
management area. To calculate the number of SS pairs you can create, know the capacity of
the elements.
Note: For Pool Information, the value shown for Total Capacity and the value shown for Pool
Mng. Capacity : used are similar but may vary.
Note: Adding and deleting pool-VOLs to and from the pool does not update this value, even
when the Total Capacity for Pool Information is updated.
When you right-click a pair in the pool/volume list, a menu with the Pairsplit-S command
is shown. Click the command to open the Pairsplit-S dialog box. Command menu
Shows the settings you have defined. They are not applied to the system until Apply is clicked. Preview

P-VOL: Port ID, group number of the host group, and LUN of the P-VOL.

MU: SS ID.
• S-VOL: Port ID, group number of the host group, and LUN of the S-VOL.

Error Code: Code for an error. If there is no error, three hyphens (---) are shown.
• Preview X(Y): Total number of operations shown in the Preview list(X) and type of operation(Y).
Select and right-click a row in the Preview list to show the menu. Preview list command

Options:

Detail: Opens the error message dialog box, which shows the error code and message.

• Delete: Cancels the selected task and removes the task from the Preview list on the Snapshot
window.
Applies the operations shown in the Preview list to the storage system. The Preview list is cleared
when the operations complete. If an error occurs, the failed operation remains in the Preview
list. Details of the error (error code and message) are shown on the error dialog box. Apply
