remote shell.

Recovery Manager requires that a 3PAR InForm user must have been created on the

Secondary/Remote InServ Storage Server to allow access from the backup host.

Enter 3PAR password file on backup host [h=help,q=quit]?

You will only be prompted with this question if you previously selected RSH as the

remote shell.

Recovery Manager requires that a 3PAR password file must have been created on the

backup host to allow access to the Secondary/Remote InServ Storage Server from the

backup host.

4.9.2.2 Creating a Recovery Manager Configuration File using the GUI

on the Backup Host

To use the Recovery Manager GUI to create a Recovery Manager configuration file with

Remote Copy support, perform the following:

Start the Recovery Manager GUI on the backup host.

Ensure the X11 server is running on the destination host where the GUI is displayed. If

the X11 server is not running, enter the following command:

Ensure the

DISPLAY

environment variable is set.

Start the Recovery Manager GUI.
