Explanation

PDUB. XP Continuous Access LUSE pair is in the COPY or PAIR state, but at least one LDEV pair within
the XP Continuous Access LUSE pair is in the SMPL or PSUE state.

Suspending. XP Continuous Access Asynchronous only. Pair is not synchronized, and is in transition
from the PAIR or COPY state to the PSUS/PSUE state.

Deleting. XP Continuous Access Asynchronous only. Pair is not synchronized, and is in transition from
the PAIR, COPY, or PSUS/PSUE state to the SMPL state.

Sub: Suspend Sub Status.

Grp: Sequence number of current volume is same as consistency group.

LU: Sequence number of current volume is not same as consistency group.

OFF: Suspended by the PS OFF by the MCU.

S/N and ID: Serial number and SSID of the other disk array (MCU or RCU) of the volume
pair.

Port, G-ID, and LUN: Port number, group number (G-ID), and LUN of the other volume of the
volume pair. If the LU is set to more than one path, the LU specified at paircreate is displayed.

NOTE:

If # is added to the end of an LDEV number, such as 00:3C#, the LDEV is an external

volume. For more information about external volumes, see the HP StorageWorks XP External
Storage Software user guide: HP XP12000 Disk Array, HP XP10000 Disk Array, HP 200
Storage Virtualization System
.

Type: Pair mode: Synchronous, Synchronous-C, or Asynchronous. Synchronous-C means the
Synchronous pair on which the consistency group is specified.

Fence: P-VOL fence level of the XP Continuous Access volume pair: data, status, or never.

Diff: Information about differential data.

CTG: Consistency group number of the pair (only for the Synchronous-C pairs and Asynchronous
pairs).

ErrLvl: Error level of the pair (only for the Asynchronous pairs).

CLPR: Number and name of the CLPR to which the volumes forming the pairs belong. For more
information about CLPRs, see the HP StorageWorks XP Disk/Cache Partition user guide for
XP12000/XP10000 Disk Arrays and SVS 200
.

NOTE:

The S/N, SSID, and Fence columns might be blank while the pair is in transition from a

pair status to SMPL. To display the latest information in these columns, refresh the pane.

NOTE:

The first LDEV number of the LU is not displayed.

Display Filter pane

Click Display Filter to open the Display Filter pane, which you can use to select volumes to display
on the Volume list. You can select the G-ID, port number, CU number, pair mode, volume type,
consistency group number, port type, and pair status.

When you select the CU or port number on the CU Number/Port Number tree on the XP Continuous
Access main pane, the selection in the CU Number/Port Number tree has precedence over the
specification in the Display Filter pane. When you select the CU number or G-ID in the tree, the
specification on the Display Filter pane for the CU number or Group number is not available. To
make all settings on the Display Filter pane available, click Subsystem in the CU Number/Port
Number tree.
