Click the triangle icon to the left of a column heading to sort data by the selected column.

To sort data in multiple columns, Shift+Click the title of the respective columns. To return to
sorting by a single column, click the title of the column.

Customize the tables as needed. The following changes are saved in cookies and are retained
across page reloading and vSphere Client sessions:

Sorting criteria for one or multiple columns

Information about hidden columns

NOTE:

Each table is customized separately. For example, changes to the Storage

Overview–Virtual Disks table for a VM are not applied to the Storage Overview–Virtual Disks
table for a datastore.

Viewing VM or datastore overview information

To view VM or datastore overview information:
1.

Select a VM, VM template, or datastore in the inventory tree.

2.

Click the HP Insight Software tab.

3.

Click Overview in the HP Management pane.

The Summary tab includes a link to the array management software for configured arrays (if
available), and the array health status information.

Viewing storage information for a host

To view storage information for a host:
1.

Navigate to the Hosts and Clusters Inventory view.

2.

Select a host in the inventory tree. You can select a host that is part of a cluster or a standalone
host.

3.

Click the HP Insight Software tab.

4.

Click Storage Overview in the Storage Information section of the HP Management pane.

The Storage Overview of Host host name page appears.

Viewing summary information

The Storage Overview of Host page displays the following information about the selected host:

Provisioned by Host

Host Free: Amount of unused storage on the host

Host Used: Amount of storage used by the host

Host Total: Total amount of storage available to the host, including HP storage, local storage,
and unmanaged disks

VMDK/RDM Provisioned: Amount of storage provisioned on the host as virtual disks (VMDKs
or RDMs)

VMDK/RDM Used: Amount of storage used on the host as virtual disks (VMDKs or RDMs)

Provisioned to Host

HP Storage Provisioned: Amount of storage available to the host from configured HP storage
arrays

HP Storage Used: Amount of storage from configured HP storage arrays that is used by the
host
