Please follow instructions carefully:

1. To begin installation, carefully block the front tires and
wheels so that the vehicle can not roll forward. Safely lift the
rear of the vehicle and support the vehicle with a pair of jack
stands. Place a jack stand on both the driver and the pas-
senger side.

2. Place a pair of hydraulic floor jacks under the rear axle.
Place on on the driver side and one on the passenger side.
Carefully raise up on the hydraulic floor jacks until they make
contact with the rear axle.

3. Working on the driver side, remove the u-bolt nuts of the
front legs of the u-bolts. Save the hardware. Repeat proce-
dure on the passenger side.

4. Locate the new rear ladder bar brackets. Working on the
driver side, install the new bracket to the front legs of the u-
bolts and secure using the hardware that was removed ear-
lier. Torque to 125 ft lbs. Repeat procedure on the passen-
ger side.

5. Locate the front driver side ladder bar bracket. Place the
ladder bar bracket up into the body mount pocket and secure
using a pair of vise grips.

6. Using the new bracket as a guide, carefully drill (2) 5/16”
holes into the frame rail. Special note: Make sure to hold
the the cables running through the body mount bracket
away from the drill and take special care not to damage
the cables.
Repeat procedure on the passenger side.

7. Locate (4) 3/8” x 1” self threading bolts from hardware bag
10892NB. Working on the driver side, secure the front driver
side bracket to the frame rail using the new 3/8” x 1” self
threading bolts. Make sure to use thread locker or loctite.
Repeat procedure on the passenger side.

8. Working on the driver side and using the front driver side
bracket as a guide, carefully drill a 1/2 hole into the front and
back side of the body mount pocket.
