9. Locate (4) 1/2” x 1 1/4” bolts, (8) 7/16” USS flat washers
and (4) 1/2” unitorque nuts from hardware bag 10892NB.
Working on the driver side and using the new 1/2” hardware,
secure the new front bracket to the previously drilled holes.
Make sure to use thread locker or loctite and torque to 65 ft
lbs.
Repeat procedure on the passenger side.

10. Locate the new ladder bars. Locate the new poly bush-
ings and sleeves from hardware bag 10892NB1. Install the
new poly bushing and sleeves into each end of the new rear
ladder bars. Special note: Make sure to use a lithium or
moly base grease prior to installing the new bushings
and sleeves into the ladder bars. This will help with the
life of the bushings as well as prevent squeaking.

11. Locate (4) 1/2” x 3 1/2” bolts, (8) 7/16” USS flat washers
and (4) 1/2” unitorque nuts from hardware bag 10892NB.
Working on the driver side, install the new ladder bar to the
front and rear bracket and secure using the new hardware.
Do not tighten at this point. Special note: The holes in the
ladder bar will be installed towards the rear of the vehi-
cle.
Repeat procedure on the passenger side.

12. Carefully remove the hydraulic floor jacks from under the
vehicle and carefully lower the vehicle to the ground. Once
the weight of the vehicle is on the ground move back to the
1/2” x 3 1/2” bolts connecting the ladder bar to the new
mounts and add some thread locker or loctite and torque to
65 ft lbs.
