Rate Updates
Your 75705 scale is ready to use right out of the box. Current postal rates are already loaded for your
convenience. You can download the latest rates at
www.advantus.com . Be sure to save the included
serial cable for future rate updates.

• Internet Connection (required to download software)
• 5 MB hard-disk space
• Available COM port with DB9 Connector
1. Visit www.advantus.com to obtain the latest postal rates and update software. Save the software
to your desktop and double-click the file to install the software.
2. Turn off the scale.
3. Connect your scale to an available COM port on your PC using the cable provided.
4. Launch the software by selecting Start, All Programs, Advantus Corp and then Postal Rate
Download.BIN.
5. After launching the program press the Select Rate File button.
6. Browse to the rate file which is stored in the following folder by default C:\Program
Files\Advantus Corp\Advantus Postal Rate Downloader\
