You can select options to adjust the washing program to suit your own specific requirements.
The machine remembers which options you chose for a program (with the exception of Delayed
Start) the next time you select the same program. Of course, you can change this if you want.
Temperature
1. Choose the temperature by pressing the program selector until a temperature is highlighted.
2. Turn the program selector until the desired temperature is displayed. You can select temper-
atures between Cold and 203°F (95°C). If you select Cold, the washing temperature will be
the same as that of the machine's water supply. You cannot choose a higher temperature
than 104°F (40°C) for Wool or 86°F (30°C) for Hand. The maximum temperature for the Time
program is 140°F (60°C).
3. Press the Start/Stop button to start the program or press the program selector to choose more
options.
Spin
1. Choose the spin speed by pressing the program selector until a speed is highlighted.
2. Turn the program selector until the speed you want is displayed. You can select speeds be-
tween 400 and 2000 rpm, No spin, or No drain. A spin with a speed of 400-800 rpm is always
a short spin. For the Delicate/Wool and Perma Press programs, you cannot choose a spin
speed higher than 800 rpm.
3. Time Choice has a maximum speed of 1600 rpm.
4. No spin means that the program does not include a spin cycle and ends by draining. No
draining means that the program does not include a spin cycle and ends with the water from
the final rinse still in the machine. The washing will remain covered by the water from the final
rinse and therefore will not become wrinkled.
5. In order to remove the laundry from the machine, select either a Spin or Drain program or
press the Door Opening button (key symbol) to drain the water from the machine.
6. Press the Start/Stop button to start the program or press the program selector to choose more
options.
Rinse
1. This option can be selected with all programs except Auto, Time, Rinse, Spin and Drain.
Choose the number of rinses by pressing the program selector until one of the rinse symbols,
Economy Rinse (removes 1 rinse), Normal Rinse, or Super Rinse (adds 2 extra rinses), appears
on the display.
2. You can choose Light, Normal, or Super Rinse by turning the program selector.
3. Press the Start/Stop button to start the program or press the program selector to choose more
options.
