Drafts: contains all messages that were not completed and saved to

send at a later date.

Inbox: all incoming messages arrive and are stored in the Inbox until

deleted. If memory is full, new messages are rejected. Delete older
messages to free up space for incoming messages.

Outbox: the Outbox stores unsent messages until they send.

Sent Items: keeps a record of all sent messages from your device.

Configuring E-mail Parameters

1.

From the Today screen, press the Start key (

) to

activate the Start menu.

Select Messaging (

)

Messages (

). The

Messages screen displays showing the contents of a

Messages folder.

Press the Menu soft key, then select Tools

Options. The

following tabs appear in the display:

• Accounts: Lets you review/change settings and signatures for

your Messaging accounts or for a new account. You can also
enable/disable the “account picker” screen.

• Message: Lets you

change message
options. Select the box
of the options you
would like to turn on or
off.

• Address: Lets you

check E-mail address
information using the
address books. Select
the Add button to add
address books to the
phone. These
additional address books provide more available E-mail addresses.

• Storage: Shows the amount of Main Memory is free, the amount

of Storage Card memory is free (when inserted), and the Current
size of attachments. Also lets you select when the phone empties
deleted messages from memory.

4.

Select

to save your changes and return to the

previous screen.
