Camcorder Options
Use the shortcuts at the left side of the screen to set
camcorder options:
• Flash: Choose Off or On.
• Self-recording: Switch to the front camera lens to record
yourself.
• Recording mode: Choose Limit for email, to restrict the
video to a size suitable for sending via email, or Normal for
regular recording.
• Timer: Set a timer for how long to wait before recording.
Options are: Off, 2 sec, 5 sec, and 10 sec.
• Exposure value: Choose a value to set the brightness of the
video.
• Settings:
– Edit shortcuts: Configure the shortcuts on the Camera screen.

– Self-recording: Switch to the front camera to record yourself.
– Flash: Choose a default flash mode.
– Recording mode: Choose normal recording (any length), or limit
the recording so that it is suitable for attaching to an email.
– Exposure value: Choose a value to set the brightness of the
video.
– Timer: Choose a time period to delay between touching Record
and starting recording.
– Effects: Apply an effect to videos.
– Resolution: Choose a resolution for the video.
– White balance: Choose a setting to match the light source.
– Outdoor visibility: Enable or disable automatic adjustments for
typical outdoor conditions.
– Guidelines: Display a grid on the screen to aid in composing
videos.
– Storage: Set the default location for saving videos.
– Reset: Return all settings to their defaults.
