Basics
Camera – Launches the built-in camera
(page 94).
Clock – Accesses the alarm and media
application screen (page 83).
Contacts – Displays the Contacts tab listing
current contacts, synced from either your
Google or Outlook account (page 69). Contacts
can only be synced to a managed account
(page 50).
Downloads – Allows you to view your
downloaded applications.
Email – Provides access to both your Outlook
(Exchange Server-based) email and Internet
email accounts (such as Google, MSN Live, etc.,
page 129).
Gallery – Displays a Gallery of photos and
videos stored on the microSD card (page 100).
Gmail – Provides access to your Gmail account
(page 130).
Application Icons
Google + - Google+ makes messaging and
sharing with your friends a lot easier. You can
set up Circles of friends, visit the Stream to get
updates from your Circles, use Messenger for
fast messaging with everyone in your Circles, or
use Instant Upload to automatically upload
videos and photos to your own private album on
Google+.
Internet – Launches the Web browser
(page 120). The browser is fully optimized and
comes with advanced features to enhance
Internet browsing on your device.
Kies air - Kies air allows you to sync your
Windows PC wirelessly with your phone
provided they are both on the same Wi-Fi
network. You can view call logs, videos, photos,
bookmarks, IMs, and even send SMS messages
from your home computer.
Latitude – Lets you see your friends' locations
and share yours with them. The application also
lets you See your friends' locations on a map or
in a list (page 145).
