Phone settings
To customize the settings of your phone use the following steps:
1.
When the Idle mode displays, press the Menu
soft key.
2.
Select Settings and press the Select
soft key or the
key.
3.
Select Phone Settings and press the Select
soft key or the
key.
The following options display:
Language
This menu allows you to select a display language for Text language and Input mode.
Choose from Automatic, English, Français, and Español.
Own number
This function is a memory aid, which you can use to edit or remove your own phone
number. You can also edit the default name assigned to your phone number.
1.
When the Idle mode displays, press the Menu
soft key.
2.
Select Settings and press the press the Select

3.
Scroll to the Phone settings option and press the Select
soft key or

key.
4.
Highlight Own number and press the Select soft key or the
key.
5.
Press the
key. The cursor displays in the Name field.
6.
Press the
key and type in a new name if desired.
7.
Press the Down Navigation, press the
key and type in a new number
if desired.
8.
Press the Save soft key when finished.
Show caller information
By turning this option on, when you miss a call, caller information such as name
displays on your screen when your missed calls are listed.

Press the OK key to place a check mark beside With cover display if you
want to display caller information on the External display.
Slide settings
This menu determines whether you accept or reject calls with the slide in the up
position or when the slide is down.
