Default Saving

The Default Saving option allows you to choose where your contacts are saved. The
following options are available:

Phone: new phonebook contacts are saved to your phone. Your phone comes with

the default set to Phone memory.

SIM card: new phonebook contacts are saved to your SIM card.

Ask on saving: you are prompted to choose between Phone or SIM Card

whenever you save a new contact.

Copy all to

The Copy all to option allows you to copy all the contact information to your Phone
or SIM card.

Sort by contacts

The Sort by contacts menu option allows you to set the sort function to alphabetize
the contacts by First name or Last name.

Delete All

Important!: Once contact entries are deleted, they cannot be recovered.

This option allows you to delete all your contacts from the Phonebook. For more
information, refer to "Deleting all of the Phonebook Entries" on page 73.

Memory Status

You can check how many names and numbers are stored in the Phonebook, within
both the SIM card, Phone memory, and the FDN. You can also see the current
storage capacity of both memories.

1.

In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.

2.

Scroll to the Phonebook icon using the Navigation keys. Press the Select

soft key or the

key to enter your Phonebook.

3.

Highlight Management and press the Select soft key or the

key.

4.

Select the Memory status option by pressing the Up or Down Navigation

key and press the Select soft key or the

key.

5.

Press the

key or the Back soft key when you are finished.
