Guidelines
These guidelines apply to the BOOTP relay agent:
ˆ A routing interface functions as the BOOTP relay agent for the local
clients in its subnet.
ˆ You can specify up to eight DHCP or BOOTP servers.
ˆ The hop count for BOOTP requests is preset on the AT-9400 Switch to

with hop counts of 4 or more.

relay agents can relay both their packets.
