Playback Features

Features Available in Playback Mode (Playback Menu)

When viewing images in full-frame playback mode or thumbnail playback mode,
you can select one of the following functions by pressing the

d button (A 11)

to display the menu and then selecting the

c tab.

* Images are edited and saved as separate files. Certain restrictions apply (

example, images captured at an Image mode (

be edited, and the same editing feature cannot be applied multiple times.

Allows you to create retouched copies in which
contrast and saturation have been enhanced.

I D-Lighting*

Allows you to create copies with enhanced brightness
and contrast, brightening dark portions of an image.

e Skin softening*

When this feature is enabled, the camera detects faces in
images and creates a copy with softer facial skin tones.

p Filter effects*

Digital filter effects can be used to apply a variety of
effects to images. Effect types include Cross screen,
Fisheye, Miniature effect, and Painting.

a Print order

When using a printer to print images saved on the
memory card, you can use the Print order function to
select which images are printed, and how many copies
of each image are printed.

b Slide show

Allows you to view images saved in the internal memory
or on a memory card in an automatic slide show.

Protects selected images from accidental deletion.

Specifies the orientation in which saved images are
displayed during playback.
