Replacing the protective camera glass

G

Check the safety glass of the camera for
damage or signs of wear before use. If
damage or signs of significant wear are
noticed, the protective camera glass must be

changed immediately to prevent moisture
entering the camera. If water is already in
the head (at the edge of the protective
camera glass), the camera head with the
safety glass removed must be allowed to dry

for several hours and the safety glass must
be changed.
Proceed with extreme caution and care when
replacing the protective camera glass!
Ensure that components are kept clean. We

recommend that all work on the camera
head is undertaken by an authorised
ROTHENBERGER Service Centre.
Wearing parts (e.g. protective camera glass,
reel cable etc.) are not covered by the

guarantee.

ROCAM® Mini Module (optional)

H

Tubes with diameters from 25 mm can be
inspected using the ROCAM® Mini Module.

The reel cable is secured for transportation with
cable ties.
1

Remove the camera head from the
ROCAM®Plus.

2

Attach the ROCAM Mini Modul connecting
adapter.

3

Take the ROCAM Mini Modul out of the reel
cage and attach to the connecting adapter.

After finishing work unscrew the ROCAM® Mini
Module again. Lay the ROCAM® Mini Module reel
cable in the reel holder. Remove the connecting
adapter from the ROCAM Plus push cable. Screw
the ROCAM PLUS camera head back on.

When rolled up the diameter must not be
less than 300 mm!
The camera should only be pushed or pulled
lengthwise!
Too small a radius and crosswise pushing

and pulling can cause the cable to fracture!
The adapter piece must not be introduced
into the tube.
