To set the command mode of this
player

Press MENU on the player.

Turn . AMS > to select “CD1/2
SEL”.

Press . AMS >.
The current command mode appears.

Turn . AMS > to select “CD – 1”
or “CD – 2”, then press . AMS >.
If the remote command mode of another
Sony CD player is CD1, set this player to
“CD-2”. If that of another CD player is
CD2, set this player to “CD-1”.
To operate your player using another
remote, set the command mode of the
remote you want to use to that of the player
you want to operate. The command mode of
the remote supplied with this player is fixed
to CD1.

Press MENU on the player.
The operations for normal play and the basic
operations during play are explained below.

Turn on the amplifier. Turn down the
volume level to the lowest.

Select the player position using the
input selector on the amplifier.

Press POWER on the player to turn on
the player.
