Setting the Sound Quality
Setting the Equalizer Setting
You can set your desired sound quality to match the song, etc.

Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the HOME menu appears.
Press the / button to select (Settings), and then press the
button to confirm.
Press the / button to select “Music Settings,” and then press the
button to confirm.
Press the / button to select “Equalizer,” and then press the
button to confirm.
Press the / button to select the desired equalizer setting, and
then press the button to confirm.
To return to the previous menu
Press the BACK/HOME button.

Setting item/Icon
Description
“None”/No icon
Turns off the equalizer (Default setting).
“Heavy”/
Emphasizes high and low ranges for a more powerful sound.
“Pop”/
Stresses the middle range audio, ideal for vocals.
“Jazz”/
Emphasizes high and low ranges for a lively sound.
“Unique”/
Emphasizes high and low ranges, so that even soft sound can
be heard easily.
“Custom”/
User-customizable sound settings.
When you press the / button to select “Edit,” and
then press the button, you can edit the sound setting. To
edit the sound setting, press the / button to select
the band (5 bands: 100 Hz to 10 kHz) and press the
button to confirm. Then press the / button to select
the sound level (7 levels: -3 to +3) and press the button
to confirm. Repeat this step to set the sound level of every
band.
If you return to the previous menu using the BACK/HOME
button after setting the sound level, the setting you have
changed will be canceled. Be sure to press the button to
confirm.
Notes
• If you turn on the Bass function while the equalizer setting is activated, the equalizer setting is
disabled temporarily. The equalizer setting will be resumed by disabling the Bass function.
• While the Bass function is activated, you cannot change the equalizer setting.
