To change the display on the recorder
Press DISPLAY/MENU repeatedly. Each
time you press the button, the display changes
cyclically as follows. (Recording level meter
appears on the information display 1 (
 on
the left column of this page) while recording.)
While recording/while the recorder is
stopped
 Group number, track number and elapsed time

Group number, track number, remaining
recording time and remaining free space 1)

Number of tracks after the current track and

1) Remaining free space appears only when the
disc is used in Hi-MD mode and the recorder is
stopped.
2) Appears only when the recorder is stopped.
3) Shows the level of each of the following
frequencies for both the L-channel and R-channel:
100 Hz, 250 Hz, 630 Hz, 1.6 kHz, 4 kHz, 10 kHz.
