Turn SELECTOR until the character
you want appears.

The cursor disappears and the first space for
the disc title flashes.

You can input the following
characters:

• Upper cases (A – Z)

• Numbers (0 – 9)

• Symbols ( ⁄

+ , – < > @ [ \ ] _ `

To select characters on the
system

Turn SELECTOR to the counter-clockwise
or clockwise.

To select characters on the
remote

Press

V or v until the type of character you

want appears, then press

B or b to select the

character you want.

Press . or > to move the cursor to the
position you want to correct, then turn
SELECTOR to select the appropriate
character or press DELETE to remove the
character.

Labeling a CD

— Disc Memo

You can label each disc using up to 11 characters.
When you select a CD-TEXT disc, the first 11
characters of the disc title are stored as a disc
memo. Whenever you select the labeled CD, the
label (Disc Memo) appears in the display.

you want to label appears.

When you label a disc with the front cover
closed, the disc number of the disc at the
playing position appears.

When you label a disc with the front cover
open, the disc number at the loading position
appears.
