• The input selector on the VCR is not set correctly.

Set the selector correctly, and check the connection
between the VCR and your camcorder (p. 65)
• The camcorder is connected to DV equipment of other
than Sony using the i.LINK cable (DV connecting cable).

Keep the connection, and follow the procedure on
page 70.
• Setting program on a blank portion of the tape is
attempted.

Set the program again on a recorded portion (p. 73).
• The syncronicity of your camcorder and the VCR is not
adjusted.

Adjust the syncronicity of the VCR (p. 71).
• COMMANDER is set to OFF in the menu settings.
