Operating an iPod
directly
— Passenger control
You can operate an iPod connected to the
dock connector directly.

During playback, press and hold

“MOD-IPOD” appears and you can
operate the iPod directly.
To exit the passenger control
Press and hold

“MOD-AUDIO” appears and the mode
changes to “RESUMING.”
Notes
• In the passenger control mode, the video of
iPod with video is not output to the monitor.
• The volume can be adjusted only by the unit.
• The repeat setting will be off if the passenger
control mode is canceled.

EQ7 : Selects an equalizer curve from 7
music types:
“XPLOD,” “VOCAL,” “EDGE,” “CRUISE,”
“SPACE,” “GRAVITY,” “CUSTOM,”
“OFF.”
CSO * 2 (Center Speaker Organizer): Selects
the virtual center speaker mode: “OFF,” “1,”
“2,” “3” (page 37).
POS (Position): Selects the listening
position (page 37).
