Operating an iPod
directly
— Passenger control

You can operate an iPod connected to the
dock connector directly.

During playback, press and hold

“MOD-IPOD” appears and you can
operate the iPod directly.

To exit the passenger control

“MOD-AUDIO” appears and the mode
changes to “RESUMING.”

Notes

• In the passenger control mode, the video of

iPod with video is not output to the monitor.

• The volume can be adjusted only by the unit.
• The repeat setting will be off if the passenger

control mode is canceled.
