The memory card recorder
cannot be turned off.

• Slide the

HOLD•POWER

switch in the direction of

“POWER” and keep it there until “Power Off” animation
appears (page 17).

The memory card recorder
cannot be turned on.

• The power to the memory card recorder is off.

Slide the

HOLD•POWER

switch in the direction of

“POWER” and keep it there until the opening animation
appears (page 17).

• The batteries have been inserted with incorrect polarity

(page 11).

• Insert the new batteries (page 11).
• Take out the batteries and insert them again.

The memory card recorder
does not operate correctly.

• Take out the batteries and insert them again.

It takes a long time for the
memory card recorder to
start.

• If the memory card recorder is required to process a large

amount of data, it may take longer for the memory card
recorder to start. This is not a malfunction of the memory card
recorder. Wait until the start-up display disappears.

The memory card recorder

• You may have formatted memory card using the computer.

Use the memory card recorder formatting function to format
the memory card (page 41).

The memory card recorder
does not operate, even if
you press any button.

• The batteries are weak (page 12).
• The power to the memory card recorder is off.
