Enter or re-enter your 4-digit
password using the numeric
buttons, then press ENTER.
The display for setting the playback
limitation level appears on the screen.

Press  or  repeatedly to select
“STANDARD,” then press ENTER.
The options for “STANDARD”
appear.

Press  or  repeatedly to
select a geographic area as the
playback limitation level, then
press ENTER.
The area is selected.
When you select “OTHERS ,”
enter the area code for the geographic
area you want by using the numeric
buttons (see “Parental Control area
code list” (page 118)).

Press  or  repeatedly to select
“LEVEL,” then press ENTER.
The options for “LEVEL” appear.

Press  or  repeatedly to select
the desired level, then press
ENTER.
“PARENTAL CONTROL” setting is
completed.
The lower the value, the stricter the
limitation.
To turn off the “PARENTAL CONTROL”
function
Set “LEVEL” to “OFF” in step 10.
To change the password

Follow the procedure from step 1
to step 6 of “Restricting playback
of the disc (PARENTAL CONTROL)”
(page 51), and press / repeatedly
to select “CHANGE PASSWORD,” and
then ENTER.

Enter a new 4-digit password using
the numeric buttons, then press
ENTER.

Re-enter the new password for
confirmation, then press ENTER.
