SOUND items
To return to the previous screen, press  on the remote (  /CHG on the CD player). To cancel the
setting operation, press  on the remote (  /CHG on the CD player) for 2 seconds or more.

EQUALIZER
(Equalizer setting)

Normal sound quality
SOFT For vocal, stressing middle range audio
ACTIVE Lively sounds, emphasizing high and low range audio
HEAVY Powerful sounds, further emphasizing high and low ranges
compared with ACTIVE sound
CUSTOM
Customized sound (see  page 27 for details)
CLEARBASS
(Bass sound setting)
 OFF Normal sound quality.
BASS 1 1) Emphasizing bass sound.
BASS 2 1) Emphasizing bass sound more than BASS 1.
BASS 3 1) Emphasizing bass sound more than BASS 2.
1) “1,” “2” or “3” appears on the display on the CD player.
Note
If you change the setting of the EQUALIZER item after you have set the CLEARBASS item, the setting of the
EQUALIZER item gets priority.
When you set both the EQUALIZER item and the CLEARBASS item, set the EQUALIZER item first.
