Meaning
To record in the HQ (High Quality) mode.
To record in the SP (Standard Play) mode.
To record in the LP (Long Play) mode.
To format a disc (page 74).
To prohibit further recording on the disc,
and make it compatible with other DVD
players (page 64).
To make the finalized disc recordable
again (page 72).
To add an original title to the disc (page
67).
To assign numbers to files in sequence
even if the disc is changed.
To reset the file numbering each time the
disc is changed.
Meaning
To play back a stereo disc or dual sound track
disc with main and sub sound.
To play back a stereo disc with the left sound
or a dual sound track disc with main sound.
