1 Speakers
(Left/Right) Outputs audio signal. The speakers on the model
KDE55XBR950 and KDE61XBR950 can be detached and
used with the optional speaker stand. For details, see
page 26.
2 POWER ON/
STAND BY

LED
Lights up in green when the TV set is turned on. When in
standby mode, the LED lights up in red. The LED does not
light up when the main power is turned off. If the LED
blinks continuously, this may indicate the display unit
needs servicing (see “Contacting Sony” on page 119).
3 TIMER LED When lit, indicates one of the timers is set. When the timer
is set, this LED will remain lit even if the TV set is turned
off. For details, see page 114.
4 PICTURE
OFF
LED
When lit, indicates that the Picture Off feature is activated.

5 (IR) Infrared
Receiver Receives IR signals from the remote control.
