Using the wireless LAN

The camera is compliant with the DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) to connect with a
DLNA-enabled device via wireless LAN.
For further information, refer to the “Cyber-shot Handbook”.

Exchanging images among the DSC-G1s

Directly establishes a connection among the DSC-G1s without an access point (Ad-hoc
mode).

Pressing the WLAN buttons on the devices simultaneously establishes the wireless network.

Collaboration Shot

An image captured with this camera can automatically be sent to other cameras connected via
WLAN (Wireless network). Up to four cameras can share the image.

Picture Gift

You can exchange an image stored on this camera with another cameras connected via WLAN
(Wireless network).
When the user granting access selects an image to be sent, the device on the receiving side
displays the image in the index display area.

Making your images public via an access point

Connects to a network via an access point (Infrastructure mode).
The camera is compliant with the DLNA1.0 standards. With a DLNA-enable TV set, you can
view images stored in the camera via an access point, without connecting the devices via an A/
V cable.
