B Depending on the audio files that are recorded on the “Memory Stick”

media, it may take time to read files completely. While reading, the
operation of Audio Player is unavailable. This is not a malfunction.

B You cannot play ATRAC3plus format audio files, audio files with expired

date, or audio files with a limit to the number of times play is allowed.

B Check that the MP3 files are located in [Palm/Programs/MSAUDIO]

directory on storage media, such as “Memory Stick” media.

B Check that the file format is supported by your CLIÉ handheld.

For details on file formats supported by your CLIÉ handheld, refer to “Audio
Player” in the “CLIÉ Application Manual” (HTML format).

B Audio files encoded in VBR (Variable Bit Rate) cannot be played on your

CLIÉ handheld.
Check the information of the audio file in the About Track screen. If the
bit rate of the audio file is 0 kbps, the file is encoded in VBR.

B Check that the remaining battery power is sufficient.

B Take out the “Memory Stick” media and insert it into your CLIÉ handheld.
